The Lupus Foundation of America, Northwest Ohio & Michigan Chapter, was founded as a regional non-profit organization in 1986. Based in Findlay OH, we cover a twenty-seven county area in Ohio (including Allen, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Drake, Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Logan, Lucas, Miami, Paulding, Putnam, Seneca, Shelby, Van Wert, Williams, and Wood), and all of Michigan.

We are a local chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., which is the largest organization in the world dedicated solely to this cause and the mission "to educate and support those affected by lupus and find the cure". All members of our local chapter are also members of this national organization.

Our funds come from donations, membership dues, and grants. We are governed by a working, volunteer Board of Directors and a full-time President/CEO. Opportunities to volunteer or serve on the Board of Directors are always available.
