The overall mission of the Van Wert County General Health District is to protect the health of the public and to prevent disease. Purpose Westwood Behavioral Health Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit community behavioral health center serving residents of Van Wert County and the surrounding areas, providing a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health care servcies. Through specific bequests, The Foundation provides scholarships to area residents as well as support for many events and organizations in the area.
